MTC is seeking teen volunteers (8th-12th graders) for Dare to Dream JR! Please note teen volunteering is an application process and filling out a form does not guarantee placement. Below is more information and application dates.
Applications close on Friday, August 21st
Placements will be sent by Monday, August 24th
About:
Teen volunteers assist campers with learning lines, music, choreography and they role model what it means to be an actor at MTC. Teen volunteers join in all rehearsal days of any given session, bringing the focus and the fun to our younger campers. During the last week of camp, volunteers partake in a plethora of tech roles for the production, including sound tech, light op, backstage crew, costume crew, box office and more.
Requirements:
Teen volunteers commit to the ENTIRETY of the rehearsal and performance schedule. Please contact us with specific questions regarding conflicts.
Arrive 15 minutes before actor call times and stay 10 minutes after camp.
Arrive 1.5 hours before each performance time.
Provide all-black clothing for performances.
Attend and participate in a post show strike
Positive attitude, love for theatre and enjoy supporting elementary actors!
Teen volunteers are needed for Dare to Dream JR which rehearses Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30-8:30pm and Saturdays from 9:30am-12:00pm. Our first rehearsal is Tuesday, September 1st. Performances are Friday, October 9th at 7pm and Saturday, October 10th at 1pm and 7pm. Click here for the full calendar
