MTC will soon be seeking teen volunteers (completed 7th-12th graders) for our summer season! Please note teen volunteering is an application process and filling out a form does not guarantee placement. Below is more information and application dates.

About:

Teen volunteers assist campers with learning lines, music, choreography and they role model what it means to be an actor at MTC. Teen volunteers join in all rehearsal days of any given session, bringing the focus and the fun to our younger campers. During the last week of camp, volunteers partake in a plethora of tech roles for the production, including sound tech, light op, backstage crew, costume crew, box office and more.

Requirements: 

• Teen volunteers commit to the ENTIRETY of the rehearsal and performance schedule. Please contact us with specific questions regarding conflicts. 

• Attend the pre-summer meeting.

• Arrive 15 minutes before actor call times and stay 10 minutes after camp. 

• Arrive 1.5 hours before each performance time. 

• Provide all-black clothing for performances.

• Attend and participate in a post show strike

• Positive attitude, love for theatre and enjoy supporting elementary actors!

This summer, we are seeking teen volunteers for Finding Nemo KIDS (both casts) and The Jungle Book KIDS (both casts). All four elementary sessions are half-days for two weeks long with three performances each for campers 2nd-5th. Click here to see the full summer calendar.
